Carrefour, Again

The grocery store is always a special time for me. I bought: verveine mint tea, Italian grapes, two packs of notecards, and some gummi candy. Most of the time I was taking pictures like a fool. An actual fool.

It was a different shark at the poissonerie this time, and he wasn't so much fearsome and ferocious as pitiful and sad. Click him. Look at his eyes. Are they fake, like in taxidermy? I like to think that he's just so depressed about being placed amongst his own filets.

Do what? Doo WAP!

Remember this guy? Turns out, he's not just a cereal character, he's Carrefour kids' mascot. In a photographic spirit, I got pictures of each label he was featured on. He's an athletic spirit. Speaking of that, why is he trying to fly with the cookies? Isn't he a ghost? He seems to manage pretty well everywhere else.

To end on a downer note, here is . . . horseflesh. Luckily it looks pretty easy to resist, like a giant pancreas wrapped up in plastic. Gross. Sam's host family is away in Algeria, so it's just him and the dad at home. Apparently the dad is into some pretty weird meats and they had heart the other day.
